Clark Wilson LLP is seeking a Training Specialist who is motivated to develop our people and is accountable for supporting our culture of learning and development.  The ideal candidate will have a passion for sharing knowledge, ideas and expertise of in-house processes and tools and will be able to deliver them in a format that motivates others and supports development and growth. 

This is a full-time, permanent position and is ideal for anyone wanting to join a firm that takes pride in having a collegial working atmosphere, where growth and professional development are supported. 


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Providing business process and technology training internally to a wide variety of business professionals and developing and maintaining the necessary training materials
  • Developing and maintaining a masterful understanding of in house technology and the business application of these tools, with an emphasis on Microsoft Office technology
  • Assist with the updating of the existing onboarding training plan and materials
  • Collaborate with the management team to identify training needs
  • Assist with the coordination and or execution of monthly learning sessions
  • Provide proactive support to users within MS Teams and other applications as needed
  • Test any new systems or tools and share knowledge with users
  • Serving general admin and team support needs


QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS


  • at least 3 plus years in a professional work environment with experience in training
  • a post-secondary bachelor’s degree or diploma or commensurate experience
  • excellent technical skills with an aptitude to learn new systems & processes, including advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
  • possess strong communication skills with the ability to effectively describe complicated ideas to different audiences
  • impressive presentation skills
  • the ability to think strategically
  • a client-centred approach with the commitment to providing outstanding service;
  • the ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion and, confidentiality, and to adapt to changing demands.
